Language Access

The goal of all language access planning and implementation is to ensure that your agency communicates effectively with Limited English Proficient (LEP) and Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals. This requires ensuring effective communication at all points of contact between an LEP, deaf, or hard of hearing person and your agency. All ICDVVA-funded programs will be required to develop and implement a Language Access Plan beginning in FY24. Here are some tools to assist in the development process.
